Offer encouragement to our at-risk youth (and adults) by helping provide resources they will need to prepare for their GED exams. Specific needs are:

Calculators (Casio FX-260, 10-digit solar scientific calculator, approximately $10 each)

Spiral notebooks

Pens and pencils

When a homeless family moves into MSC’s Family Shelter, they have only the barest of necessities…often this does not include cleaning supplies. Help to welcome a homeless family into their temporary home at our shelter, by creating a cleaning kit.

Kits should contain the following items:
• Multipurpose cleaner
• Detergent/Soap to wash dishes and other surfaces
• Bleach
• Yellow/Green scrub sponge
• Resusable wipe cloth
• Mop
• Toilet bowl brush
• Garbage bags

Please drop off at MSC’s front lobby and note that the donation is for the Family Shelter (1200 S. 336th, Federal Way, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

Hygiene kits filled with travel-sized toiletries are distributed at the food bank for homeless people. And kits are also available with our case managers to distribute on an as-needed basis to clients in our programs.

Needed travel-sized items include (at a minimum):
• Shampoo & Conditioner
• Toothpaste
• Toothbrush
• Dental Floss
• Bar soap
• Deodorant

Additional items needed:
• Razors/Shaving Cream
• Tampons
• Kleenex
• Hand Sanitizer
• Hand Lotion
• Chapstick
• Nail Clippers
