The ORCA LIFT program helped out considerably. I did not have to worry whether or not l was going to make it to work on time or have to miss a day of work. The reduced fare helped me save money. Being on the program benefited me greatly. –Adrian, ORCA LIFT Card Recipient
ORCA LIFT offers eligible individuals a reduced fare card to use services such as Metro buses, Sound Transit Link Light Rail, Seattle Streetcar, King County Water Taxi, and Kitsap Transit buses. To qualify for the ORCA LIFT King County Reduced Fare Program, a person’s household income must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and they must be between the ages of 19 and 64 years. Those that are eligible will receive a free ORCA LIFT Card. The card does not come pre-loaded with funds, however, the card can be loaded with a monthly pass or E-Purse funds to ride at a reduced rate.

MSC became a partner in this program last February, and so far has signed up more than 700 people throughout South King County for the ORCA LIFT card. You can find more information on eligibility requirements and program hours on our website.
