Immigrant and Refugee Community Education and Outreach

Do you identify as a newly arrived refugee or humanitarian immigrant in Washington State?

Multi- Service Center’s Community Outreach and Education program can help you rebuild your life in your new community. Multi- Service Center’s culturally diverse staff understand the challenges faced by newly arrived refugees and immigrants.

We provide culturally and linguistically appropriate support to connect you to community services and resources. We want to give you the tools to be successful in navigating your new environment and community. We offer:

  • Resource navigation
  • Information and referrals
  • Cultural orientation and educational workshops

Eligibility:

  • Have arrived in the United States on or after July 1, 2021;
  • Be at least 16 years of age or older;
  • Currently living within Washington state; AND
  • Have one of the following entry or immigration statuses:
    • Refugee;
    • Asylee;
    • Certified victim of human trafficking;
    • Amerasian;
    • Cuban-Haitian entrant;
    • Iraqi or Afghan Special Immigrant Visa holder;
    • Afghan SI/SQ Parole designation;
    • Afghan Humanitarian Parolee; or
    • Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolee.
