MSC’s Market at Redondo Heights Food Bank in Federal Way, Washington, provides supplemental and emergency food assistance for Washington residents. The Food Bank is by appointment and serves clients in a market-style food pantry with a variety of fresh and shelf stable foods that are culturally relevant.


Eligibility 

  • Must be a resident of Washington state.
  • Identification is not required to visit the Food Bank.

How to get food

Appointments are available to visit the Food Bank but are not required. Households may visit the Food Bank once a week during their prescheduled appointment or as a walk in. Walk in visits may be subject to a wait.

To schedule an appointment that will stay the same each week, visit the Food Bank in person, call, or email during Open Enrollment. Open Enrollment takes place during open hours Tuesday-Thursday throughout the months of March, June, September, and December only.


What to expect

  • Households may visit the Food Bank once a week.
  • Please do not arrive early for your appointment. Food items are available and restocked throughout the market timeframe.
  • Entry is only available through the front of the building.
  • Some programs have specifications that may exclude those that are not residents within the Federal Way Public School District area.

Where do I park?

Limited parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Food Bank; additional ample parking is available at the Park & Ride.

What do I bring?

Please bring a bag or box to carry your food.

Can I volunteer?

Yes! Current needs and volunteer opportunities are listed on our Volunteer page. All volunteers must complete an application, background check, and attend training at the Food Bank before their first shift.

How do I donate food?

MSC accepts donations from the public of unexpired food, including homegrown produce, as well as hygiene products, baby diapers, wipes, and formula, adult diapers, and pet food.

Donations may be dropped off Monday through Friday (except holidays) between 9am-3pm at the Market at Redondo Heights Food Bank located at 27614 Pacific Highway South in Federal Way.

We are unable to accept donations of medicine/supplements, furniture, clothing, or prepared/cooked food.
