Rotarians supporting food access in Federal Way

The Rotary Club of Federal Way is taking action this August and September to collect food and donations for MSC’s Food Access programs! Working with local businesses, Rotarians have set up collection sites at the following locations from now until September 18:

The “Feeding Our Own! drive” (FOOD) culminates at the Federal Way Farmers Market with fun and games on September 19!
Join Rotary and MSC at the Farmers Market on Saturday, September 19 from 9am-2pm for games, prizes, and fun with FOOD! All proceeds and food donated supports MSC’s Food Access programs such as:
- Redondo Heights Food Bank Market, which currently serves over 850 households weekly! The market is open to anyone in Washington state.
- Food Bridge, MSC’s weekly mobile food banks at select senior living facilities that serve over 200 individuals weekly.
- MSC’s home delivery programs in partnership with Amazon, United Way, and Virgina Mason Franciscan Health which provide weekly food delivery to close to 400 households.
- Bridging a Gap weekend feeding program that provides take home bags to approximately 250 students every week.
