MSC provides affordable housing opportunities to individuals and families who qualify to live in one of several MSC owned apartments in south King and Pierce Counties.

Rent and Emergency Assistance
MSC provides one-time rent assistance and limited resources for temporary emergencies such as utility bill assistance to individuals and families living within the city limits of Burien, Federal Way, Kent, Renton, SeaTac, and Tukwila.
Employment
MSC provides employment readiness training, job search assistance, application and interview material preparation, and career planning support for those enrolled in the Basic Food program.
Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program
The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program (LTCOP) supports residents of nursing homes, adult family homes, assisted living facilities, and enhanced services facilities.
Regional Access Point
MSC is one of five Regional Access Points (RAPs) in King County for resources and assistance with finding creative solutions to resolve a housing crisis quickly through the Coordinated Entry for All assessment.
Immigrant and Refugee Services
MSC provides immigrants and refugees culturally and linguistically appropriate support to connect them to community services and resources.
Education
MSC partners with Federal Way Open Doors to reengage students ages 16 to 21 and support them in obtaining their High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Basic Food Application Assistance
MSC can provide information, pre-screening, and assistance with completing an application for Washington State’s Basic Food Program.

MSC offers supportive housing for veterans and their families in Federal Way and for single men in Burien.
Family Shelter and Homelessness Navigation
MSC offers family shelter through Coordinated Entry for All and also provides assistance through the Youth and Family Homelessness Prevention Initiative Program which combines case management with emergency financial assistance to foster housing stability and prevent eviction.
Permanent Supportive Housing for Women in Recovery
MSC offers affordable housing for women actively participating in their recovery from substance abuse who are homeless and cannot afford market rate rent.

The Food Bridge program brings a mini version of our Food Bank Market to local senior living facilities.
Home Delivery
In partnership with United Way of King County and Amazon Flex, MSC offers a home delivery program for food from the food bank.

MSC expects all customers to treat staff, volunteers and other customers with respect and dignity; honor confidentiality; be accountable for their actions; ask for help and support when needed; and alert MSC staff or volunteers when they have a concern or issue.
