Request a CEA Appointment through MSC

The purpose of King County Coordinated Entry for All (CEA) is to ensure all households experiencing homelessness have fair and equal access to assistance with resolving their housing crisis. MSC is one of five Regional Access Points (RAPs) in King County, primarily serving South King County, where clients may seek resources and assistance with finding creative solutions to resolve a housing crisis quickly.

Please contact the MSC RAP or another RAP geographically convenient for you if you are:

  • Literally homeless in King County (Pierce County residents must go through Pierce County Access Point). Literally Homeless is defined as living and sleeping outside, sleeping in a place not meant for human habitation, or staying in emergency shelter
    OR
  • Fleeing/attempting to flee Domestic Violence in King County (Pierce County residents must go through Pierce County Access Point)
    OR
  • Exiting an institution where you resided for up to 90 days and were in shelter or a place not meant for human habitation immediately prior to entering that institution

Young adults imminently at risk of homelessness within 14 days are also eligible for CEA.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MSC RAP DOES NOT PROVIDE IMMEDIATE HOUSING OR HOTEL/MOTEL VOUCHERS.

You may request an appointment by phone or email, or come to MSC during walk-in hours. Email requests are preferred and may receive a faster response. You should receive a response to your phone or email inquiry generally within three business days, with some exceptions.

Request an appointment by phone: Call 253-874-6718 and leave a message with your name (or you may use an alias if you’d like to protect your identity) and a safe contact number or email for us to reach you at. This phone line is only answered Wednesdays from 2-5pm (except holidays); however you may leave a message at any time and we will return your inquiry.

Request an appointment by email: Email [email protected] with your name (or an alias if you’d like to protect your identity) and a safe email address or contact number for us to reach you at.

Walk-in appointments: We accept walk-in appointments Thursdays from 3-6pm (except for holidays) at our Federal Way office. Please note walk-ins are on a first come, first serve basis as time allows. Due to demand, it’s possible that not all households that seek a walk-in evaluation will be able to be accommodated at the time of walk-in.
