As we close out 2024 and reflect on the year, MSC’s teams have served an incredible number of clients – over 77,000 individuals receiving essential support and resources through our program service delivery. We are thankful for the continued support and advocacy of members of our community to highlight the importance of the work we do and how we can support our neighbors.
There is no doubt 2025 will bring its own set of highlights and challenges. Entering into a new legislative session with a statewide budget deficit is definitely a challenge. However, we encourage members of our community to help advocate to continue funding for food, heat, long-term care advocacy, housing, case management, and support for immigrants and refugees.
Vital services are on the line for our neighbors and community members. Statewide, we continue to build our allies to ensure a balanced state budget does not come at the cost of those who need support being lifted out of poverty. Federally, we face challenges as well and need folks like you to use your voice to support our work.
There are so many other ways we are grateful for your support! Volunteer hours, food and diaper/wipe donations, shout-outs on social media, showing up to our events, and many more.
All of us at MSC will continue to center serving our clients with incredible care, compassion, kindness, understanding, and listening – as we’ve done for over 50 years. We look forward to continuing to do this good work with you by our side.
