Six months into 2025, we continue to center our communities as we navigate the impacts of policies on our clients, services, and our agency. In these moments, this is where MSC finds our courage. We root down into what we know to be true—MSC has been serving the community for over 50 years, and we will continue to be here for another 50 years. We will continue to stand for the health and well-being of our community. To stand in solidarity with other partner organizations who do this work and be brave when powers bigger than us try to knock us off our center.
Each and every one of you sustain MSC’s ability to provide services – services like our market-based food bank which serves over 1,500 households weekly through in-person visits, home delivery, and mobile food banks at senior living facilities. You support is not only helping MSC feed over a thousand community members each week, but you also help MSC assist folks with finding employment, finding shelter, providing housing, utility and heat assistance, immigrant and refugee services, as well as advocacy for our seniors and persons with disabilities living in long-term care facilities.
When we come together to uplift our neighbors, it improves our community for all. As we face so much uncertainty in our world today, we know this stands true for MSC and those of you who show up for us and partnership with MSC, we will continue to be there for those members in our community who need our help. We will stand strong in our beliefs and what we know is right in how we uphold humanity and honor human dignity.
Thank you for being our partner in this work.
