Theo was struggling in his traditional high school. He was experiencing severe social anxiety and sensory issues. His mental health issues were making attending school difficult, and led to him eventually dropping out of school during his tenth grade year.

Theo still wanted to graduate from high school, so he joined the Open Doors program. He was still struggling with unaddressed mental health issues, feelings of isolation, and a general lack of motivation.

Then Theo was placed in the GED Pathway Program and connected with MSC staff. They were able to help Theo engage by providing additional educational support, along with consistent and positive encouragement.

At 18 years old, Theo earned his GED and enrolled in an apprenticeship program. He also received some employment navigation assistance and was recently hired at a local warehouse.

Theo is just one of the many youth in our community impacted by the programs made possible through the support we receive through donors and volunteers. Thank you for helping Theo achieve his goal!
